The Sony VPL-FHZ120 projector with an installed laser light source of 12,000 lumens, after 20,000 hours of use, normally has an average brightness of 8,400 lm (30% reduction) under normal operating conditions. Sony's three basic 4K models all work with a lamp, and only one of its current range, the VPL-VW590ES, uses its X1 chip adapted for projectors.
